The issue is not that the taxpayers should pay more for someone else’s child to go to school. The issue is that the colleges are run by leftist and progressives who provide an increasingly poor education and and increasingly higher costs. The costs these entrenched academics charge is not worth the education the students are receiving and that is the problem. Colleges churn out worthless degrees given to them by Progressive academics and the students are stuck will huge debt they have no hope of paying off because they are not qualified for any job paying enough for them to support themselves. Provide an education that enables students to actually make a living and students will happily pay for college regardless of the costs. Why should taxpayers subsidize a broken system run by leftist professors?
